Any report issued by a regulated valuation firm should be admitted by all Spanish mortgage lenders
All valuation companies used by Spanish banks are regulated. In theory, a report from a regulated valuation firm can be used by any mortgage lender. However, often the lender that has given an agreement in principle will nominate a valuation company. The banks usually have a relationship with one or two valuation providers so for brevity it is preferential to go with the bank's suggested company.
